Cape May County Coast Guard Festival
3-day (May 8 - 10, 2015) celebration to recognize and honor the U. S. Coast Guard.
Kicks off on May 8 with a Proclamation Ceremony recognizing Cape May County as an official "Coast Guard Community", free guided tours of the base and ships docked will be conducted.
May 9 starts with the Coast Guard Festival featuring tours, demonstrations, displays, games and rides for children and a Barbeque at the base and around Cape May Harbor. A 'meet and greet' and a movie on the beach at the Cape May Convention Center, open to the public will close the Saturday celebration.
A breakfast to honor Coast Guard families will be held at the Cape May Lewes Ferry Terminal. Check website for details www.coastguardcommunity.org
